Hello Christopher, Steve is concerned that you didn’t go to some seminary, maybe that’s a blessing considering what some teach that did, had you graduated from one you might not have written that good article on homosexuality because you might even embrace it as some graduates are doing today.

It is good to not feel entirely alone — that there are a few others who belong to Christ who see the current crisis going on in the western Church. Rick Warren has biblical schooling. Look where that has gotten us? And please tell me which Seminary or Bible College which offers biblical schooling does not promote psychotherapy and charging for counseling? Which one of the Apostles besides the Apostle Paul had biblical schooling? And the one who did have Pharisee biblical schooling , renounced it in favor of Christ Crucified, alone. Can’t a person without biblical schooling do that as well? Rick Warren partners up with Roma Downey and surrenders his pulpit to her has no biblical schooling yet the Christian and Missionary Alliance, which has many “bibical schools”, teaches pastors and leaders how to hijack church properties and bank accounts, awards Downey with an honorary degree at 2014 Nyack College Commencement:

So you want someone with biblical schooling? In rare situations this is commendable, and until recent history, most commendable. Would Dr. John MacArthur, who has renounced both Rick Warren and Roma Downey on World View Weekend count. And what chapter and verse in the bible tells us that someone with the gift of discerner of spirits should have biblical schooling before they are considered credible? Had all of those people and pastors with “biblical schooling” done their job as watchmen on the wall, and were not derelict in their duties, it would not have been as necessary for someone else to step up to the plate and expose the deeds of darkness. It is these very people with “biblical schooling” that are leading the Church into the Abyss. I will take a person who tells the truth and knows the Truth any day and in a heartbeat over the myriads of so-called Christians who have biblical schooling. Here is just one example of what biblical schooling credentials has gotten us. Why have a host of those people with biblical classes in “hermeneutics” mostly remained silent in the face of iniquity, deception and the wide highway to destruction? If not, please supply me with a list. Rick Warren with biblical schooling forms an unholy alliance with Roma Downey who believes this. Proof:

What do you call someone who is a student of new age psychology and spiritualism? Do you call them new agers? Do you call them seekers? Would you dare call them Christian? Well, if you’re Roma Downey, then yes, you would call yourself all the above.
Recently I was coming across one of the Christian channels and stumbled upon The Jim Bakker Show. On the program, Jim and his wife Lori, were hosting their special guests Roma Downey and Mark Burnett as well as musical guest Jason Crabb. It was such a weird mixture of evangelical mish-mash that I was lured in to watching the program myself to find out exactly what was going to happen. I was not disappointed.
As I sat and listened to Jim introduce his two guests (Downey and Burnett), I recalled their previous work on the History Channel’s The Bible and how they managed to literally re-write the Bible itself, and presented another gospel message altogether. I was captured by their (Downey and Burnett) aggressive but subtle attempt to portray themselves as “believers”. The sappy spiritual love fest that permeated on set showed me that something was indeed changing within Christianity, and that something was another Jesus being introduced to the masses.
It needs to be understood by all who read this article that some facts need to be addressed, and once they are laid out for all to see, then a genuine decision can be made as to why these two individuals are making inroads into mainline Christianity and what their true motives are.
Roma Downey, a devout Roman Catholic, along with her husband, were heavily influenced in new age spirituality. Downey graduated from the University of Santa Monica, a private graduate school founded by New Age spiritual and self-help guru John-Roger, and will graduate with a master’s degree in spiritual psychology in June [2010].
Roma went even further into her new age Catholic spirituality by teaming up with acclaimed psychic John Edwards and co-produced a CD for children to be used for meditation and enlightenment, while Edwards introduced the teachings of contacting the dead (necromancy). In the book, Loyalty to Your Soul: The Heart of Spiritual Psychology, by H. Ronald Hulnick, Ph.D., Mary R. Hulnick, Neale Donald Walsch. The New Age Roma Downey provides this glowing endorsement (viewable online) near the beginning of the book as follows:
“As a USM [University of Santa Monica] graduate, I know firsthand the value I received from participating with Ron and Mary in the Master’s degree Program in Spiritual Psychology. I am so grateful to have Loyalty to Your Soul to sweetly remind me of all I have learned. Let’s just say that I went from playing an angel on TV to living more of an angelic life every day. The teachings in this beautiful book have sent me on a journey to the very center of my own being where, wrapped in the safe wings of Love, I feel as though I have come home.”
Even further in regards to Ms. Downey’s position regarding spiritualism and her Catholic religion, Roma advocates the eastern mysticism teachings of Eckhart Tolle, another spiritual giant in the field of new age teachings, not to mention the connections Tolle has with Oprah Winfrey. But it’s fascinating to see such a connection that someone has to the world of the occult and then try to present a so called gospel message. Yet that’s exactly what Roma Downey and her husband are indeed doing, presenting another gospel, another Jesus.
Roma has consistently stated in past and current interviews that she is on a spiritual journey, not that she’s been “born again”, but that she regularly seeks a greater understanding of the world and the universe thru different means, namely spiritualism through higher intellectualism called spiritual psychology, where the mind connects to the energies surrounding the individual to gain a higher understanding of themselves and the world they live in. This is occultism 101.
It’s equally interesting to note that Roma Downey is close friends to Della Reese, the famed singer and actress, as well as founder and pastor of the church of Universal Foundation for Better Living. A Universal new age church which promotes mystic teachings and New Age Spirituality. It is also important to note that when one goes to miss Reese‘s church, its tenants has nothing to do with sin, for the concept of original sin is not accepted, nor is the concept that man is initially a sinner which needs a sinner, nor a Savior, for all men are God’s children, even the worse individual, so there is no need for repentance. Yet the word disputes this notion in Jeremiah 17:9. Yet it was Della Reese who influenced Roma as well as Downey’s husband Mark into seeking another gospel yet keeping some connections to their Catholic teaching, the combination between another Christ found in Catholicism and the addition of New Age spiritualism is a combination that seeks to do one thing, produce another gospel entirely. That is the agenda of those like Ms. Downey and her husband and the mere fact that Jim Bakker, a Pentecostal minister, who began his life preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, but now supports and embraces this new gospel, only cements the belief the apostle Paul warned about in many of his letters to the church, that the time will come when men, having itching ears, will not endure sound doctrine. (2 Timothy 4:3)
This new gospel which is being presented is what we have been warned about which was coming long before its arrival, yet many Christians, not understanding what is being promoted and taught, mainly due to the lack of genuine teaching in most pulpits today in many churches across America, is producing an illiterate group of believers who will not know what type of gospel message, or worse, what type of Christ is being presented, and what’s worse, it’s notthe Jesus of the Bible, but another Jesus entirely. It is antichrist.
The gospel of Roma Downey and her husband Mark Burnett, is another Jesus, another gospel and another way, and if one accepts this Jesus, sadly, he will not save, nor redeem them, but condemn them for there is no truth in this Christ but only death, for his name is antichrist and he is the deceiver. Be warned.

On July 6th I watched the Sid Roth program and heard Dr. Goll for the first time.
I do have a question I hope someone can answer for me.
It seems that I have failed (missed) to read in the Bible where angels heal people as Dr. Goll said.
I need to read this for myself.
Can someone give me the book, chapter and verses in the Bible where this information is?
I’m still learning so any help on this subject will be most appreciated.
In John 5:1-5 you will find your answer. However, angels do not heal us, that healing which is afforded every human being was provided for on the cross. It is by the stripes of Jesus that we receive healing, not the stripes of an angel. So no, angels today heal anyone, for the only healing which can come is by the work Christ paid for on the cross and it is by our faith that then healing comes.

Christopher152, I saw the same Sid Roth show. My mind immediately went into concentrate mode when I heard Dr. Goll speak of angels healing. I first wondered is he communicating with one of Satan’s agents camouflaged as an angel. I sought background knowledge for more clarity during the show: Angels are not on equal level as Jesus Christ, we are not suppose to pray to them, they are assigned to lead and guide us, fight our battles, occasionally assigned to bring messages. I believe I am going to continue to seek God for all my supplications.
Thank you for prompting the thought-provoking question. Christians can certainly be misled by this, because there are people who praise angels. As Christians, we should praise Jesus. What are your thoughts?

Christopher, Some have asked about your education. That’s really irrevelant to me. Some of the greatest preachers/teachers I’ve heard in my 66 years had no formal Bible schooling. I judge a minister by the words he speaks and how those words and concepts line up to the Word of God. Quite simple, isn’t it? The Bible gives us guidelines for judging those who are false prophets. – Yes! “Judging” them. We are to judge those under whose ministry we place ourselves. A former pastor of mine once said – “if one word I say fails to line up with the Word of God, then remove me from this pulpit”. I firmly belive that. When we continue to sit under the ministry of one who is not teaching Biblical truths – we place ourselves (and our souls) in harm’s way. We are out of God’s will when we support ministries that do not teach the full truth of God’s word. One pastor teaches an acceptance of all faiths and of every sin – he doesn’t want to judge anyone or speak against any particular sin. He says it’s not his place to make those judgements. But is IS his place to define what is sin according to the Word of God. It IS his place to teach those under his ministry that there is a price to pay for sinning. Its his place to teach them that God is not all love and acceptance. He is a God of Wrath and Judgement; a God who hates sin and tells us to do the same; NOT to hate the sinner, but to hate the sin. But, this pastor doesn’t see the need to talk about sin. Granted, it’s not a popular teaching – people would much rather hear that God loves them and they can do no wrong. To clarify; I’m talking about Joel Osteen. It’s a “feel-good” teaching that falls terribly short of the truth of God’s Word. But, back to the original point regarding Christopher. I have only recently become acquainted with you and your ministry. If what I read had not lined up with the Word of God – I would have read a couple of articles and gone on my way. However, I found that your beliefs line up with the Bible and with what I strongly believe. I feel that you speak from your heart – from a heart of caring for mankind and of caring for the Body of Christ and where they are being led and how they are being influenced by unscrupulous ministers and ministries. Education can never replace the Holy Spirit in one’s life. The knowledge that comes from “hearing” the Holy Spirit” and being led by that Spirit cannot be taught.
Amen, you are correct. Jesus should be our main teacher. Remember how the Pharisees were confused on how Jesus obtained His wisdom and knowledge? They stated that He was a son of Joseph, the carpenter. In essence, they indirectly implied, “How could this be? He had no teachings.”
Great point in making us more aware of the ways of the world when it comes to Jesus.
A comment about angels – I hear so many people talking about “commanding” angels, of angels healing us, of our loved ones becoming angels when they die. It all sounds very nice, doesn’t it? But it’s not what the Bible teaches us about angels. Angels are created beings – created to worship and praise God; to do His bidding – NOT ours! We don’t become angels when we die and we cannot command angels, nor are we to pray to them. Don’t these people READ the Word? That is the problem – people don’t study the Word – that’s why they are so easily misled by ministers who use just enough of the Scriptures to make their teaching sound Bible based. We have to study to keep from being misled by these people. It’s so important to align ourselves with churches and ministers who preach the full truth of God’s Word.

I realize I should have listed some scriptures about angels rather than just talking about what the Bible says about them. Here are a few that talk about the nature of angels – Ps. 1148:2,5 – they are created beings. Nehemiah 9:6 created to worship God. Daniel 7:10 – numbers of angels “thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands”. Zechariah 5:9 Only mention of female angels – the rest are referred to as men. Luke 7:24 and Luke 9:52 -Angels are messengers. Hebrews 1:13-14 – ministering spirits
I believe in The Bible but anyone can pick and choose any versus, from any book, and use them to further their own personal agenda. I could also rebuttal back using the same book, and different versus to disprove all you stated. How does anyone suppose to believe you? How do any readers know you are for real, OR SATAN HIMSELF? You see, Satan knows each word and letter as you claim, so just because you use the book, how we know you are not Satan; trying to recruit the uniformed believers of the faith, that are looking for guidance? Satan himself disguises himself as Jesus, so to the unknowing who automatically THINK anyone speaking the Bible, think they are following the good books words; when infact they have been fooled into following Satan?
All to often, and the reason why 99% of the people are sick and tired of listening to religous fanatics, and are unwilling to even listen and give you one seond of your time, is because they know and see this “TRICK” to start to follow Satan. You’re very actions are the very reason why our society has taken such a plung dive because all those weaklings of faith, were tricked into believing they were following Heaven, when in fact they were bated and switched and finding they were tricked into following Satan instead. But the masses are starting to see why all the valueless self prophet preachers, who appointed themselves as spreading the good books words, were tricked to follow evil.
So, how does anyone know any of you are infact for the Good of God; vs Satan himself? So we are suppose to strickly believe it because of your voice and word claim you honorable, but how does one seperate the real ones, vs the false prophet? Until anyone that speaks the Good word, and can prove they are not Satan, any followers have nothing but faith they are supporting good. Remember, Satan mirrors The Bible by every word, and will say anything to win followers, but they never see, nor think independently the agenda road they are on. Remember, God created all humans differently, and only God and that persons know their life plan, and when any false self apppointed prophet begs people to follow them, isn’t that against the Bible, by following someone else’s life plan? So now you have a persons soul who changed their lifes plan, and now mirrors that false prophets path? So you see, they now have been recruited to follow Satan, under the impression they are following God.
Heavy but lets get real…. I do believe in Our Lord, and actually have 12 First Red Sealed Relics from the Vatican of the Passion of Our Lord. I will protect these with my life, but was warned, informed and seen by their being more false prophets recruiting, then the real ones.
Bless all of you but to each person, do not follow everyone whole-heartedly, but use your God given brain and see if they are taking on you on the right path. Question every action to see if it even cracks the door open for evil. When it does the first time, you are on following evil.
Remember too, Jesus used violence when he had enough and flipped the taxmans table. If you follow any prophet who says do no violence, no matter what, you are more then likely have been fooled and following Satan. For example, if someone comes to your home and will take advantage of your wife and daughters, will you do nothing to stop them and make them popcorn and watch them harm your loved ones, and only say it was Gods will, or will you resist and try to protect them? Remember, God given you a human body and expects you to do all you can to protect the most important things in this life; your loves ones and him.
It is not a crime nor against the Bible itself to raise your hand against evil. If you do nothing, the entire flock would have been slaughtered in the past, and we would not have Gods word to speak today now would we?
Think about this and spread this information. Failure to do so means you have been fooled by Satan, by not resisting his evil agenda to destroy all of Gods creatures. Unfortunately, you have been led astray, but it is not too late. Spread this information as fast and far as you can, because we all know time is short before his return. I am talking seconds or days before his return…

I believe most people are closed minded or do not know how too access this information to form their own opinions on. I believe our churches are so concerned about being GODS Church that they fail their congregations in many ways . I can not remember the last time I heard a church speaking GODS words the TEN COMMANDMENTS these words can not be misinterpreted for anything other than what as the they say.

Christopher, growing up in the Assemblies of God- I sat under the ministry of great EDUCATED men of God – some of whom fell into sin and disgrace. I am not knocking education but I would much rather sit under the ministry of a man who is called of God to the ministry rather than one who choses it as a profession – and I prefer a man who studies, prays and ministers in the annointing rather than one who prepares his sermon word for word and presents it that way – leaving no room for a move of the spirit. An education is wonderful as long as it doesn’t interfere with the annointing. Some of the wisest, most annointed ministers I’ve been blessed to hear preach did not have a formal education. I judge a minister by the wisdom of his words and whether or not those words follow basic Biblical truths. I find all of these things in your ministry. God bless you, Christopher.

I was very blessed by that. going between feeling damned VS I am walking in God’s gift of repentance and forgiveness for having left the faith, living in extreme sin ,till 7 1/2 years ago I believe God called me back to Himself, but still wrestling with it.
that is, hebrews 6: 4-8. have totally changed direction 180 degrees, but still haunted by this .
